Is Kate Day!!
It’s the day all fashion
warriors have anticipated for months!! Today, Kate Moss's
first fashion collection went on sale in fashion billionaire
Philip Green's 225 U.K. Topshop stores.
The collection, containing
clothes priced from £12 to £200 exclusively
went on sale at 8pm last night at Topshop’s flagship
Oxford Street store, and at 4.30am this morning on www.topshop.com.
Over 200 eager shoppers
queued patiently last night as they waited to be the first
to get their hands on Kate’s Collection. And it turned
out to be worth the wait. Moss, 33, appeared for little
less than 30 seconds in the stores front window, wearing
a stunning long red dress as she posed among the mannequins
for the delighted shoppers and media waiting outside (see
picture). Only 25 shoppers were allowed in at a time for
twenty minutes to select a maximum of five purchases.
Moss’s collection,
for which she is believe to have been paid 3 million pounds
to create, goes on sale next week at Barney’s in New
York. Whilst the collection has recently been regarded as
“Duplikate” by the New York Post due to the
collections uncanny resemblance to the supermodels designer
wardrobe, it is however expected to be a sell-out range.
